When you want something,
all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.

It has been a busy couple of weeks here … gardening and school readiness has [enjoyably] taken up about 16 hours a day. All of the seeds are planted [with many displaying beauteous sprouts] and the garden is ready for them when they are ready for larger ground. The new ‘herb wall’ is growing beautifully.

And most of the flower pots are beginning to sprout as well.

Last year I planted asparagus – which I understand takes two seasons [I had not grown asparagus before] to produce the yummy veggie. When I weeded the garden, removing all of the crazy winter growth, three 2 foot asparagus plants popped up.

I am very excited … love growing stuff.  Early Spring is quite lovely here in the woods. Doors and windows open – the creek waterfall sounds so nice.

School plans for summer and fall are going very well … classroom spaces almost finished … photos to share soon.
I hope everyone is having a lovely day …
Until tomorrow xo

People are stained-glass windows.  They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within.    ~Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

  1. Pattie, I just wanted to let you know how much your garden inspires me everyday! Getting to see things sprout, grow, bloom and just be (beautiful) warms my soul. I know the pictures are wonderful here on your blog, but the feeling walking into your backyard brings to me is one of safety, serenity, and calmness. It is one of the few places I have found in the world to actually be able to think and just exist in the moment. Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your beautiful world with me!!! xoxoxo
